White Friday

The White Stuff.

While some are scrambling and trampling out in the big scary ominous malls, I am here, doing that ceramics business. This year was leaning towards oblique geometric lookin’ dishes, but now those pesky fish caves have taken the lead again.

Indian Summer

Now when its nice and warm and sunny out, I hide out on the porch and paint pottery.

When it’s freezing cold outside I choose to venture out into the woods.

What the hell happened to me?

The Outer Limits

I am torn between the guaranteed market niche of ceramic fish cavey things…

Or the guaranteed yet saturated niche market of crazy cat ladies.

Man, what a wild Thursday night.

Bummer, Summer.

So I found this magical dumpster full of bottlecaps that I once saw in a dream.

Now it is gone.

No, I am not tripping balls. It actually existed at one point in time.

Some Etsy snobs call this a filler listing, but I call it variety hour.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: One of my lovely fish caves inside of my cousins over crowded incest tank.

Yes. I know.

I got free press somewhere, or i’m assuming I did because shitty shitty June June is suddenly exploding with sales and custom orders.

The cosmos are going bat shit crazy as well.http://www.etsy.com/shop/whitecitrus

May 30th 2003… Just Kidding.

What is the significance of this day in history? You’ll never know. Instead take a peep into my inventory drawer.

Will I find the motivation to create in the summer? Stay tuned and find out.

Whether it is Mother’s day or Art-a-Whirl, there is no denying that you need a dish or aquarium decoration of some sort. Come on down to Fired Up! Studios this weekend to get your fix. (1701 east Hennepin ave, Minneapolis)

Explosively Adorable: Art-a-Whirl Minneapolis

image

Here I sit gearing up for Art-a-Whirl, which is a some sort of wandering hot mess art festival in Northeast Minneapolis. You have a program or brochure that tells you of all the ‘participating’ studios in the area that you can visit.

The last time I went to one of these things I noticed a lot of art was being sold but also a lot of people who were passed out drunk before 8pm, and a lot of vegans falling off the wagon with Oscar Meyer hotdogs.

I still don’t know if I will attend, but my sculptures will. My shared studio applied too late so we are not in the program but but but! It will be open May 16-18th from noon till whenever. (Fired up! Studios, on the corner of Hennepin and Stinson building 1701… mpls.)
